Linda Lou Crosby
Linda Lou Crosby is an Emmy nominated video producer and an award winning humor columnist and journalist. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild, the broadcast honorary, Alpha Epsilon Rho, and achieved a degree in Journalism and Broadcasting from California State College at Los Angeles. Her life is an eclectic montage of challenge (world class tennis player, documentary producer), creativity (writer and producer of original western theater throughout California), and controlled chaos (kayaking, fishing, swimming out of a sinking vehicle, hiking, cow punching – sometimes in reverse, sprouting theater experiences for numerous about to be opera houses across the west), and current resident of Ingomar, Montana, population 14. Crosby is also co-owner, with husband Hart Broesel, of Camp IOU, a place where friends (old friends and those not yet met) can come together and experience the wide-open gumbo country of Eastern Montana. Crosby has created gardens that the Incredible Hulk could hide in, friendships that span cultures, geography and good sense, and driven her family and friends quite wild with various uncommon ideas for adventure; up to and including snow shoeing, archery, bicycling, and improv theater; sometimes simultaneously. Partnering with LTH co-producer Adele Field for recent original radio productions has led Crosby down the road of wonder, wit, and not necessarily wisdom, as the two create intriguing and amusing radioscapes to bemuse and charm the listener. Stay tuned!
Adele Field
Adele just loves trying to make the world a more beautiful and interesting place by recycling old things and living a natural, eco-friendly lifestyle instead of creating new clutter on the planet. A former costumer, she likes experimenting with colors and textures. Adele is a dreamer with lots of ideas who loves acquiring hands-on skills and practical know-how. She wants to downsize her life by fixing up old trailers to travel in and one to live in. Fully aware that she has to go way outside of her comfort zone, she is more than a little terrified. Towing??!! It’s safer to build colorful birdbaths from found objects — if she could just find a good weatherproof glue for fastening old ceramic plates to metal and glass bling-things. As an author, she’s currently working on a series of children’s books about “Grandma’s Trailer(s).” As a marketing consultant and book editor, she is a consummate juggler and multi-tasker.
